Dr. Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity at Umm Al-Qura University, holding dual certifications from the IAPP: Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). His expertise spans privacy engineering, privacy by design, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on building and managing privacy programs. He specializes in privacy governance, risk management, operational lifecycle management, and privacy program implementation, ensuring that organizations develop effective privacy frameworks that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and PDPL. Dr. Ahmed's work bridges security and privacy, helping organizations implement robust privacy controls that support business goals while maintaining usability and security.
